VESSELS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The American Sternwheel Association has added this page in our continuing effort to help those who wish to build their own paddlewheel boat. Someone once said, "a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words" and this certainly is true when that picture depicts how a boat is constructed. We, the ASA, hope that many of you find this effort helpful.
We invite anyone who has built, or is in the process of building, a paddlewheel boat to participate. We ask only that you be an ASA member. Your articles should be a combination of text and pictures which illustrate the sequence of events and how the construction was done. Also, it would be helpful to include some 'building tips'; like what worked or didn't work, problems you encountered and how they were solved and, perhaps, anything you would do differently (on the next boat).
Your vessel does not have to be completed; we'll start your posting and 'update' your page as the work progresses. We'll also assist in scanning pictures and editing text.
Anyone wishing to participate should contact the webmaster of the ASA for more information: yeoman@americansternwheel.org
